Families Canada's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held virtually on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm ET.
The Notice of Meeting Package will be sent to attendees by August 16, 2024. Prior to the AGM, please ensure that you have renewed your membership as the AGM registration link will be sent to all members in good standing. To participate in the AGM, you must have internet connection to access the event via Zoom. A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent in advance by Families Canada.
Note: To help ensure that all AGM-related information from Families Canada always make it to your email inbox, please add info@familiescanada.ca to your email whitelist. This article will guide you how to do so.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://families.member365.ca (the “Site”).
Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Sharing your personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Issues
Please verify your order upon reception and contact us immediately at info@familiescanada.ca if you have issues with your item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You can always contact us for any return questions at info@familiescanada.ca.
By completing purchases with us you agree to have your Credit card and personal information securely stored as part of a payment profile within a 3rd party payment gateway. This securely stored payment profile will be used, when authorized, for automated recurring payments and will allow for easier and faster checkouts. No credit card information is stored within Member365 and all payment data is accessed by way of a secure API. Under no circumstances do we share credit card or personal details.
Who can access the Families Canada member portal?
Please note that the Families Canada member portal is to be used by members of Families Canada only. Certain workspaces within the member portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by Families Canada staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.
What can be posted?
To ensure all interactions within the Families Canada member portal are safe and friendly, Families Canada staff will oversee the member portal activity and will review, edit, and delete any inappropriate content that has been submitted. This includes abusive or offensive language, spam, malicious files, or other disrespectful contact. To help provide a productive environment, please report any offensive or suspicious activity to Families Canada staff. Please note that not all user-submitted content is representative of Families Canada, nor does it necessarily represent the views of Families Canada, its staff or members.
